Healthcare Heroes Episode 1009.2: When contractor Greg Rogers went to his construction sites in Bakersfield, Calif., he had trouble walking around the job sites. After his active quality of life began to suffer he looked into getting a hip replacement after consulting his physician. Noting Community Regional Medical Centers award winning total joint program, Greg chose Dr. Kevin Lester to do his surgery. While his hip had fused over the years and was almost immobile before the surgery, Greg was up hours after his hip replacement and surprised to find he had very little pain and his mobility back. Just a day after the surgery, Greg was surprised there was little or no pain, even without pain medication. A couple days later, Greg returned home and was back to walking and his rehabilitation.

On Wednesday I'll be 6 weeks out? of mine and I'm recovering very well and even ahead of expectation. I'm so very grateful. Dr. Adolf Lombardi is my hero. LOL! No BS. He did a terrific job on me and @ 40 I can look forward to a pain-free, active lifestyle again. Anyone here about to go through this is more than welcome to PM me for advice and headsup like stuff regarding recovery. Best wishes!

I live in P.R and it seems that workers comp here is taking for ever and i would like to get my hip fixed before it gets worse but i dont get my medical from s.s till next year i think you staff is amazing it would be nice to get the operation by a good doctor keep up the good work. josiry dad
